Prior to joining HiberGene, Dr Keating served as R&D Manager and subsequently Molecular Technology Manager, at DiaSorin Ireland where he was instrumental in the development and 2012 launch of DiaSorin’s Liaison Iam molecular diagnostic system and infectious disease assays. Previously, Dr Keating served at Biotrin Ltd from 2006 until their acquisition by DiaSorin in 2008, overseeing the transition of the R&D department from a group focused on older immunoassay technology to a team of molecular diagnostic specialists. From 2000 to 2006 Dr Keating held a number of positions at Abbott Diagnostics in Sligo: as Transfer Manager he was directly responsible for the successful technology transfer of CE-marked automated immunoassay products from the US as part of a major corporate project which significantly increased plant size and headcount. Dr Keating earned his Diploma in Industrial Studies and B.Sc. with honours at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown and completed his Ph.D. focused on the design of novel biosensor-based immunoassays at Dublin City University.
Head of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs
From January 2013 to December 2014 he served at DiaSorin Ireland as Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs, leading regulatory approval for recently developed molecular assays. Prior to DiaSorin between March 2010 and January 2013, Mr Gorman held the position of Head of Quality Assurance at Trinity Biotech where he delivered approval for the WHO Prequalification Programme at the Irish headquarters in 2011. Before taking this lead role in Quality Assurance he spent 7 years at Trinity Biotech serving in various roles in the areas of development, technology transfer and re-organisation projects. Previously, Mr Gorman also held QA functions at Abbott Diagnostics and LifeScan (Johnson & Johnson). Mr Gorman is a graduate of Science at IT Sligo, Ireland.

Ms Nolan has held various technical roles in the development and manufacture of immunodiagnostic products at Biotrin, Trinity Biotech and Enfer Scientific.
Ms Nolan is a graduate of the National University of Ireland, Maynooth. She is currently undertaking a Masters program at the Michael Smurfit Business School, UCD.
